NARSissist Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow Palette Review

I’m not a big eyeshadow girl, but since NARS released their dual-intensity shadows last fall, I find my self strolling past the display admiring all the shimmering, lovely shades. I’ve since purchased two colors and they have quickly become staples in my routine.

Needless to say, when NARS brought out a palette of these beauties, the real counter stalking began. Initially, I hesitated, thinking at least half the palette was too dark for my fair skin.

A few swipes from the tester and I realized I was totally wrong. What makes these shadows truly unique is the amount of control you have over the pigment saturation. Want a sheer wash of shimmer? Easy- just apply the product dry with a fluffy brush or fingertip. It’s definitely enough color to show up, but very wearable for day.

It’s when you apply these shadows wet, however; that the formula really comes to life. Beautiful, intense and supremely blend able, this might be the easiest formula I’ve ever worked with. I usually struggle to blend shadow in my crease in a way that doesn’t look harsh. This product allows to for seamless blending.

Bottom Line: Totally worth it.
