What it is: An oil-free foundation that offers weightless, 16 hour wear, in a thin liquid formula. Part of a new class of foundations with very thin, light textures, while offering similar coverage to their heavier counterparts.
What it does: NARS promises full, natural coverage, and all day wear.
My Thoughts: I really wanted to love this since I adore my tinted moisturizer from this line. Alas, it’s exactly the same as all the other new “fluid” foundations I’ve tried. The coverage is O.K.(more medium than full), but the formula appears to sit on the surface of skin, highlighting surface imperfections, hair, or dry patches. It would be fair to assume this formula would sit nicely on a well moisturized face, but heavy creams don’t work for me. I was disappointed with both the finish and coverage.
Bottom Line: Some trends just aren’t worth my time and effort. This is one of them.
