Where have you been all my life? Benebalm hydrating lip balm

If you know your beauty cult favorites, I hope you already know about Benetint- a rose tinted lip and cheek stain that delivers beautifully sheer color for cheeks. When I was first introduced to this little gem, I adored the glow it gave my cheeks- especially if you’re into that  pin-up “cheeky” look. As a lip stain, it was a little disappointing- a little dry, and not long lasting.

Thus began a year-long search for a matching lip stain. Until now.

Somehow, I missed the launch of this product, but Benefit has released unto the world a beautiful little sister to it’s much loved Benetint – Benebalm. And it’s everything I hoped it would be. Perfect shade of rose. Perfect, silky texture, and lasting hydration. It also comes in the brand’s signature colors, Posie, ChaCha, and Lolli- but those shades aren’t my cup of tea. It’s not an all day color, but it’s perfect for those “no makeup” days. It gives my lips that little something extra, but doesn’t look like makeup. Also, this is a great starter red for someone who wants to try a brighter lip, but doesn’t know where to start.

My favorite way to wear it is layered with Benetint for an extra depth of color, but it’s pretty no matter what you do with it.

To sum up, if you’re in the market for a beautiful balm, I highly recommend Benefit Benebalm. And if you haven’t already tried Benetint, it’s a worthwhile beauty buy.
